OPEN POSITIONS:
Multi-Format Content Creator
This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can synthesise complex technical concepts into engaging, user-friendly content for diverse audiences.
WHAT YOU’RE GREAT AT
- Gaining a deep understanding of problems we solve and the solutions we offer;
- Using a variety of media formats (text, graphics, video, audio) to create interactive and engaging content;
- Using your knowledge to construct simple, polished, and engaging content;
- Collaborating cross-functionally with technical, engineering, marketing and sales teams to ensure that all materials are accrue and up-to-date;
- Conducting independant research and gathering information to develop, organize, and write training materials and marketing collateral, including videos, white papers, etc;
- Recommending instructional strategies, delivery media, and assessment/measurement methods;
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards;
- Exceptional grammar, editing and proofing.
WHAT YOU’VE BEEN WORKING ON
- Developing internal and external content related to Solutions Engineering, IP networking and broadcasting networking solutions;
- Creating content marketing and training development within the Media Technology or Solutions Integrator industry.
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK WITH US

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience in content marketing;
- BA/BS in communications is a plus, but not a must, depending on portfolio and experience;
- Proven ability to create engaging, relevant content (samples required);
- Strong understanding of broadcast technology, network management and quality of service concepts;
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
Video Network Operations Center Operator (Dubai office)
We work with the top brands around the world to help them transmit their live television shows. We are looking for a team that will be the front-line quality control sentry for the channels that Explora transports and supports globally. The ability to work a rotating schedule is required.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Monitoring 1000+ television channels to ensure the quality and stability of services;
- Overseeing Live television and streaming events to prevent and resolve issues in real-time;
- Managing commercial insertion in programming;
- Interacting with clients and TV distribution partners to ensure seamless service;
- Operating broadcast software and equipment as needed;
- Creating detailed trouble tickets to document and escalate issues efficiently;
- Communicating maintenance events to clients and internal teams;
- Assisting with technical maintenance and troubleshooting during live broadcasts.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Technical experience:
- Operating Systems: MacOS, Linux (Ubuntu, Centos), Cisco IOS, WindowsOS;
- Broadcast Technology: Knowledge of TR 101 290, SDI, ASI standards & workflows;
- Streaming Protocols: RTMP, HLS, DASH, UDP/RTP multicast;
- Networking Concepts: DHCP, Firewall rules, DNS, VPNs;
- Video Processing: FFmpeg, Multi-GPU transcoding systems;
- Cloud Infrastructure: AWS Marketplace instance preparation;
- Scripting & Automation: Writing scripts to streamline tasks;
- Network Operations: Experience in ISP environments & high-load multicast networks;
- Remote Access & Documentation: SSH, FTP, Telnet, network topology diagrams.
Soft skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly;
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations;

Playout Operations & Product Manager

WHAT YOU’RE GREAT AT
- Experience operating various playout systems, including Imagine Versio, OBS studio, ITX 2.0, Broadstream OASYS, VPLAY;
- Hands-on expertise in configuring live events scheduled from remote sites using playout systems;
- Playlist scheduling: content ingestion, preview, and validation;
- Live playlist monitoring from the video network operations center (VNOC);
- Secondary events scheduling, including logos, tickers, slates, and back-in cues;
- Monitoring and managing outgoing streams for playout channels, responding to network alerts and implementing corrective actions;
- Integrating third-party subsystems with playout, such as traffic and monitoring systems;
- Basic understanding of video standards, including:
Encoding Codecs: H.264, HEVC, XDCAM, DVCPro, AVCIntra, DV25
File Formats: MXF, MOV, MP4
Audio Codecs: PCM, AAC, AC3;
- Technical proficiency with various operating systems (Windows, Linux);
- Experience with network and system administration;
- Understanding of networking and backend infrastructure;
- Knowledge of VMware (vSphere, vCenter);
- Familiarity with networking components (switches, routers, firewalls);
- Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, RTMP, RTSP, IGMP, UDP, RTP, SRT);
- Knowledge of MPEG/DVB standards and video delivery systems;
- Basic understanding of HLS, DASH;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken English;
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years of experience in playout operations and management.

- Developing and optimizing the playout product;
- Managing a team of playout operators;
- Scheduling channel playlists from the playout system;
- Program guide ingestion;
